Grief can feel like you're in a small boat in a very large ocean. One minute everything is fine and the next you're capsizing from a wave of emotions that feel like they've come out of nowhere.

Other times you might find yourself yelling back at the storm defiantly waving your own fist back at it holding tight in the fight of "not on my watch will I let you sink".

Other stolen moments still you may sink all the same letting yourself drift into the current reality that requires acknowledging the sadness that feels so heavy it wants to drag you to the bottom of the ocean itself.

Most times you want to deny it's happening, press it down from your chest, and opt to step out of feeling anything. A quick burying yourself on shore with some busy work will usually do the trick.

Grief, especially deeply sunken grief, doesn't go anywhere until you let it come to the surface again - all of it, the many layers deep of it you couldn't feel bare to feel through before.

Grief can also be a deeply sacred and transformative experience when given the space to be. If you are someone who is looking for a way to access and release grief you were unable to process until now yet know its holding you back from living a full life, please get in touch. The grief can be a result of loss that just happened or be from a longer time ago. Whatever it is we welcome it with tenderness here.
